This event sees dance teams descend on the Harajuku/Omotesando area in late August. The two days of the festival sees a huge dance contest between these teams taking over the area.
What happens?
The dance festival is on a massive scale and sees 6,000 performers in dance groups from throughout Japan competing for the top spot. There will be a parade in front of NHK (along the avenue within Yoyogi Park that links the park to Shibuya) on both days.

How to get there
There will be an event stage and stalls in the Event Square at Yoyogi Park and a performance at the Yoyogi Forest venue.
