Jump Festa, an anime and manga mega event, takes place at Makuhari Messe every year. It is one of Japan’s top pop culture events.
What is there to see and do?
Jump Festa is a yearly two-day expo that has taken place every December since 1999. The event introduces new manga, anime, films, games, and merchandise relating to titles and characters (think One Piece, Dragon Ball, Naruto, Slam Dunk, Bleach, and many more) that are featured in the line of Jump magazines (Weekly Shonen Jump, Jump SQ, Young Jump, Ultra Jump) published by Shueisha.
They also hold a Jump Super Stage, which hosts panels with creators, artists, and voice actors.
Jump Festa 2022/2023
Don’t be confused, the official name of the event might be Jump Festa 2023, but it is in fact happening in December 2022. There will be amusements and shops galore. While the entrance is free, you will have to pre-register via the app — Apple and Google Play.
