If you don’t have the time or money to go to those awesome but far-flung regional matsuri (festivals), this is the event for you. The Furusato Matsuri Tokyo promises to gather all the unique entertainment, best local delicacies, and finest beverages from around Japan and hand them to you in the convenience of Tokyo Dome City.
Stroll all the way from Hokkaido to Okinawa in a matter of minutes and sample everything from scallops to manju filled with slabs of fatty tuna. You can wash it down with plenty of booze — there are more than 100 varieties on offer at the event, including local craft beers.

Weekday tickets are cheaper at ¥1,400 in advance and ¥1,600 on the day. Weekend tickets cost ¥1,800 in advance and ¥2,000 on the door. There are also evening tickets available for ¥1,400 which allow entry after 4 p.m. If you would like to attend multiple days, a pass might be best, costing ¥5,000.
