The “Omotesandō/Harajuku Hello Halloween Pumpkin Parade” is targeted at kids and is a cute alternative to an adult Halloween parade. 2022 will see the parade reduce in size but should still be a fun and exciting event for the little ones.
If you’ve got kids under 12, you can apply for them to be part of the parade. Pre-registration will start on the official website from October 16 and will cost ¥1,000 per child (parent included). In addition to costumed kids and trick or treating at the stores in the area, there will almost certainly be a major celebrity or two taking part. Previously this has been kawaii sensation Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.
