Last year, White KITTE’s illumination theme was Winter Forest Christmas, and the whole of the department store was doused with white, so expect more extravagence in 2023.
White KITTE is special compared to other illuminations because it uses real fir trees covered in (not real) snow — the highlight was a towering 12-meter-tall tree in the center. The enormous snowflakes hanging from the ceiling were made from 100% recycled milk cartons.
There was even a giant snow globe you could get inside and take pictures of, as well as musical and light displays throughout the day and evening.
